During the Apprenticeship, she worked on the opening of <em>Ghost: The Musical<\/em>, as well as a variety of touring and Edinburgh Fringe shows, including <em>Showstopper: The Improvised Musical, Potted Potter, <\/em>Steven Berkoff\u2019s <em>Oedipus, The Fitzrovia Radio Hour<\/em>, and <em>Cabaret Whore<\/em>. She was also General Manager for the <em>Terror 2011<\/em> season at Soho Theatre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More recent work includes: <em>Operation Annunaki<\/em> (Brighton Fringe and Shambala Festival), <em>Mystery at Frankenstein Castle<\/em> (Brighton Science Festival, Brighton HorrorFest, Guildford Fringe, London Science Museum), <em>Alex Garner: Who?<\/em> (Edinburgh Fringe), <em>Help! I\u2019ve Shrunk Santa\u2019s Trousers! <\/em>(Sweet Venues Brighton), and <em>Beowulf <\/em>(Brighton Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe, and short tour). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AFP is currently a producing partner with Rebecca Perry Productions for <em>Confessions of a Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl <\/em>at the Gilded Balloon Patter Hoose for Edinburgh Fringe 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><em> \u2018Mill has a can do attitude when it comes to making ideas work, with imagination and resourcefulness in the face of time or budget constraints. Mill designed an escape room style game for an immersive event which was an extremely successful addition.\u2019 <\/em><\/p><cite><strong>Megan Clifton (Cosmic Joke \u2013 Operation Annunaki)<\/strong> <\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"is-layout-flex wp-container-6 wp-block-columns has-2-columns\">\n<div class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-column\">\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Mill recently worked on an adaptation of HP Lovecraft\u2019s <em>Under the Pyramids<\/em>, using elements of escape room puzzles and VR technology. The initial development phase was funded by Arts Council England, and work-in-progress showings at TOMTech\u2019s VRLab and Brighton HorrorFest received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mill\u2019s main interests include: immersive\/interactive theatre, horror, sci-fi and fantasy, VR and digital technologies, escape rooms and live gaming. She is currently working in the programming team at the Byre Theatre in St Andrews, alongside running <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.paradice.uk\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Paradice Board Game Convention<\/mark><\/a> in Worthing, West Sussex, programming for Brighton HorrorFest, and seeking collaborators for two new horror-themed musicals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-column\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1371\" height=\"911\" src=\"http:\/\/www.atomicforce.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Operation-Annunaki-image.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Atomic Force Productions is owned and run by Mill Valentine.
